ecsegura, I'd call this kind of photography - Back Yard Art.
Great shoot of Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal. What is the other king of bird?
MolloyMolly, Here is a Blue Heron coming out of the water all "Fluffed Up" after diving on a fish dinner in the lake behind my home.
It almost looks like a young bird until the feathers dry and go back into place.
Wizz, Here is one of my favorites from The Gettysburg National Cemetery.
Thanks for the postings everyone, we had total cloud cover in SE Wisconsin.
Erv, I tried to get a moon picture on april 6th but this plane got in my way.
Hopefully, I have a clear shy tonight and no planes in the way.
If you are not going to do a lot of video, the T2i (which does fine video) may be a better choice. The T3i has a lot of video in it's design that may get in your way or even cause repair bills in the future.
As another has stated here, the lens are the key to this any any camera. The T2i has the same processor as other higher end Canon cameras.
That is what's called filling the frame !!!
Opus, here is a shot of a kingfisher I took here in Southern Wisconsin on 4-16-12.
Kingfisher
I should reconcile myself that I got my value from the camera ( knowing that my son used it in a HS class years ago ) & maybe someone else can benefit from it if I donate it. I'll check the sites that all have mentioned and move on.
Sinatraman, I guess it's wishful thinking on my part to expect any real monitory value, a donation of some kind seems to be the right direction. I'm not ready to teach at this time but I respect the fact you do and applaud you for doing it. Thank you.
Snowbear, another big thank you for your idea.
Shooter, another fine idea. We do have a HS and couple of colleges in the area that I may contact if I cannot move these items or I find that there is no interest after checking with my grandchildren. Thank you.
donrent, Thank you I'll go over there and see if I can find a relative value for these items, if not I'll keep them for a grandchild that might show some photographic interest someday.
Hi. I have a Pentax P3 Film Camera body, originally purchased about 1980. The camera has two lens, one a 28-70mm Auto Zoom (1:3.5 - 4.5 ) and the other a 1:2 50mm - both Pentax.
The bag also contains a Promaster Spectrum 7 (2X) Tele Converter, a Pentax AF 200 Sa Flash and two filters, one a Polarizer and the other a Skylight (1A).
All the pieces are in excellent condition - can anyone suggest a fair price to ask for this complete set, there a wholesaler/buyer coming to my local camera shop next weekend ?
