Super images! #2 is quite the stunner!

Thanks, Linda
I posted them in the order of my favorite first and then 2nd and third. It was difficult to choose one over another. I'm glad you liked them. I agree, #2 is special.

I was in Rehoboth Beach, DE last week to do some maintenance on my vacation house. It was fairly cloudy all day, but when evening approached, I realized it was going to be a spectacular sunset opportunity. I gathered up my camera and tripod and headed for the bay about 2 blocks away. I probably had about 15-20 minutes to get some shots in and I was very pleased with the final results.
Have a look and see what you think.
P.S. This is my first post although I've been a member for awhile.

Too smile or not to smile

That is the question

Using one of these for my Advertising, your input would be helpful

Thanks

I'd go with the smile. Your pic however needs to be super sharp.

This weekend I was fly-fishing off of South Padre Island, Texas. One of the areas we fish is known as the Brownsville Chanel. It is mostly a pretty ugly recycling area where they salvage old ships at the end of their usefulness. As we motored up the Chanel we passed a carcas of an old U. S. Navy carrier, CVA-59, the U.S.S. FORESSTAL. I am sure there is some member of UHH that served on this glorious war ship. It was sad to see this end to a grand old warrior.

I too had some connection with the Forrestal. I was on board the USS Robert A. Owens in 1968 for a 4 1/2 month Med cruise which we practiced various manuevers with the carrier throughout the Mediterranean. It was an awesome ship, especially when we were sailing right next to her and refueling and sending stuff (movies, etc) back and forth.
