Nicely done Frank. I'm not familiar with the type of bird, but the facial feathers make it look like he/she is wearing a mask. Very appropriate time wise

It's hard to say if I learn in the same manner as you, but I found Steve Perry's Guide "Secrets to the Nikon Autofocus System" DSLR edition, to be extremely helpful when I had my D850.
I made the change to mirrorless and found Mike Hagen's instruction on the Nikon mirrorless very helpful. I can't comment on his instructions for the D850 though, as I didn't check it out.
