Yosemite Falls last year was the biggest in 20 plus years ..., this was a shot taken down by the base around the foot bridge .., there was a bit of HDR incorporated into this shot as it is destined for a framed canvas print 20x30 ...

Was this from your just concluded trip...Fall of 2019?

Thanks for the suggestions, RR, PatO' and Photogirl. It's not daylight yet here, but I can see a full moon shining through broken clouds. Maybe it'll be a better day than anticipated :)...to quote an ex-Cal Gov, "I'll be back!"

Sounds fun...I'll be working on it tomorrow. My Ms. Maybe is kicking me outta the house for some friends visiting, so I'm taking advantage with a photo outing...I'm grateful for that! It's supposed to be a cloudy, foggy day, so who knows. I watched video about taking pictures on an overcast day, but wasn't very inspired. Any suggestions that don't include indoor stuff (since I will be out in the cold, so to speak) are very welcome. :)

Pg 32 - Asymptotic, that pano of the Grand Canyon is absolutely
the most gorgeous pano I've ever seen! The "double download"
of that image has incredible detail and the view never ends.

Well done, sir....very well done.

Pg 32 - Asymptotic, that pano of the Grand Canyon ... (show quote)

Thank you Tim...I am a little overwhelmed with your response. The GC is a marvelous place that I quite frankly hadn't paid very much attention to until 2 years ago when it was included almost as an "it's too far to drive home from Canyon Lands in Utah, so lets stop in the Grand Canyon for a while" night stop over.

I want to go back soon now. This image is several (9 or 10 as I recall) hand-held, vertical format clicks, stitched together in PSE...D7500, 18-200 at 18mm.

Glad you liked it...and thanks for the thumbs! :)

New here , But thought i would sneek this pic in before the clock strikes 12..

pg 34 Like I said to the other new guy, you two are putting up a nice show...keep it up please...

The arctic circle on a bike! I did my "then came Bronson" (google it) thing in 1968, but only made it to Yellowstone (from SoCal). Are you camping?, totally self-contained stuff? Impressive.

This is probably it for me...got some other stuff to attend to..

Rolk's panos brought the first one to mind - it is a Grand Canyon pano.

The second, a GC sunrise shot...some day I may tell you about this event, it was fun, but cold and dark.

Thanks again PG...see you on the other side of Wednesday, right?

Hope you enjoy.

pg 31 These are different than most from Pennsylvania. Very interesting...desert or tropics? There's a mysterious streak on the first one...if its in the desert it could be cosmic!

more wide open landscapes from the Southwest

pg 24 I'm liking all of your stuff the last days Kat...the Southwest is so amazing. Your image from Dead Horse State Park reminded me of a very similar image I have from 2 years ago. It was also hazy there then. I'll see if I can find it.
