Thats what I was going for, I tried to make it look dreamy but came out looking like a water color and I liked the effect so I obviously kept it. I sold one of each to a friend and that made me wonder if I should cater to Mr Buyer or be myself lol

Does that make me a photography whore lol

Thank you Bob, I appreciate your insight. I like both but for different reasons, one is more reflective of what I saw and the other is a dreamy art that some people have asked me for and I was contemplating making art instead of photography but nah, photography is much better lol, but Ill probably do both and center on taking better shots

Yes but to do so takes data from the shot and distorts the image. Its not like manual zoon where you take the shot as of your are closer, instead, digital zoom takes what the camers sees and enlages the pixels.

I like the before edit pictures when it comes to showcasing the pics but it seems people like the after edits to hang on thwir walls lol.

Lol, sometimes the eye picks up details my camera cant. Like the moon for instance, i know my camera has a lot to do with it but even with my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV Digital Camera i could set the camera to see the moon but the background would be compromised!

The ol battle between a lot of photographers is whether to edit your end photography or leave it as it was taken. I am trying to determine whether I should edit my photography. Sometimes the camera just cant see what I see and in other instances, I like to radically change the perspective of the shot.

What does the group feel in regards to photo manipulation?

Here is an example of actual and edited. What do people like.

These were taken with my iphone

Hello and thank you for letting me join. I am excited to see what I can learn from you all.

I had a nice Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV Digital Camera where I learned a lot about photography. Unfortunately, someone stole it and I was heartbroken. Not being able to afford another I started taking photos on my iphone and I was stunned at quailty of this camera. Only down fall is no telescopic lens!

So until I can save up for my new camera, you’re all stuck looking at my iphone shots lol.

I love hiking and nature activities with my photography.

Can wait to meet you all
