I saw this interesting fungus on a small plant nestled against the corner of the building where I volunteer. It's only about 8" high and 6" across.

A bit more mundane than all the Aurora pix, but quite pretty for fungus.

P5- Thanks for sharing this interesting fungi. I have seen similar ones before, Susan.

This is a little unusual but…

It has been a year now that Roadrunner has passed on. He posted this pic in a challenge back in May of 2022 “Les Eboulments, Charlevoix, Co.” The challenge was of “The Letter M” by Photogirl17. I liked it and thought it was on the dark side a little, so I messed with it some. Never met the man but wished I could have, I miss his presence a lot here on UHH. Through our PM”s I thought we would get along very well.

So this one’s for you Roadrunner, Rest In Peace my friend. You are missed.

P5- I think that I agree with you Roadrunner's original was a little dark. I like how you treated it.

Thank you. The park runs between Akron and Cleveland so many people have a perfect excuse to drive through daily. 😊
(My first name is Alice but I usually go by my middle name, Elaine.)

P4- I kinda wondered about that possibility, Elaine.

My pleasure.

We joined many people driving through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park looking for a good spot to get a good pic of the lights. Hope they fared better than we did. 😆

Playing it safe tonight. Too tired to drive anywhere, and despite the forecast, the Aurora wasn't visible much tonight at home.

Hopefully some of you got another chance for captivating images.

I have a few photos.

My grandkids' homeschool co-op presented a WWII comedy, "Radio Daze", this weekend. I took a boatload of pictures and was able to crop out some individual portraits.

P1- Very interesting set Sue! I have fond memories from my Speech&Drama days in junior high.
