Although I also use FastStone (which is brilliant, btw!), if you're determined to use windows file explorer, the only option I discovered when I had the same problem was by installing
http://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/. This will cost you $9.99, but once installed your E-M1.ii ORFs will show in explorer - both as thumbnails and as previews.

p.5 Those are super cool!
Thanks Pat - I've been wanting to try that 'photoelasticity' with the plastic glass etc. for a while, seems I should have done so sooner

Really cool set - that first one made me go, "Wow! What is that?!?" Then I saw that it was the gills of a mushroom - you spent your lazy weekend very wisely!!
Thanks Sue - not often I spend ANY time wisely
Evening all!
In the finest tradition of sharing "anything new you've learned or picked up on in any of your post processing adventures", herewith the results of a lazy weekend of table-top shooting

I went to several Art Wolf seminars some time ago and two the things that I remember most were to turn around and take a shot and before you leave take a vertical shot if you are shooting horizontal shots! There wasn't anything special at sunrise but the clouds were real nice at sunset!
P2 - Some gorgeous colours indeed!
This was MEANT to be my first "motorsport in the dark" attempt, last weekend at Brands Hatch circuit - but turned into my first "try not to drown in the rain while taking photos" effort!
Not quite NASCAR or F1, Bill - hope you enjoy nevertheless !

These are excellent examples, kippertoes, and are the kind of image often seen in brochures etc. Now you're challenging me to learn to do it in PS!
Thanks Pat - and trust me, it's easier in PS than you'd think was possible!
Great challenge Pat - not something I've ever tried before! A few quick tries from PS, some more successful than others I feel.
