I went to Alton Il yesterday to photograph eagles (posted a few minutes ago) but came upon an American Kestrel this moderate size bird was able to hoover like a humming bird looking for it prey in the river never got a good front shot in the air just on the lamp post

I have an 810 but have been drooling over an 850 I shoot birds mostly using a 200-500 the reason I want the 850 is that little bit extra cropping it would afford me 36mp is great but 45 would be excellent am I overthinking the benefit of those few extra megapixels the 810 is wonderful and I like the flash for use taking pictures of my grandchildren if the pandemic ever ends since you have both what is your opinion
I personally like the dslr cant compose as well on screen (bird photography mostly) use 810 and 200-500 so your decision is based on what you shoot weight is a factor ability to see screen in bright sunlight 850s hard to get right now if you want new dont know about Z would think for your style of photography 810 is good but it is getting old so go handle each one and see how it fits think 850 expeed 5 z expeed 6
still the same favorite photo area county park near a river great diversity
Bubalola. Nov 25 I had a post the prize all with food in beak
someone baits the birds with dry dog food they seem to like it many mornings it's gone which would make me think a racoon or the like comes oh yes happy new year to all thanks for looking
you might consider a 7500 although 20.9 sensor, but more modern
I have a black 5200 if interested will send pictures
