Wow. You'd think you were fishing in the Mississippi.
The view that most people get of New Jersey is that of the New Jersey Turnpike or the view of the cities that are across the Hudson from NYC. I don't think that everyone realizes that much of New Jersey is rural. The Appalachians run through western New Jersey. New Jersey has the highest concentration of bears per square mile of any state in the country. Your picture is an education for those here who might be uninformed.
Thanks for the comments therwol. New Jersey is very, very diverse as you mentioned. The beaches and beach towns can be quiet and clean or loud and clean. The big cities have lots of people, traffic, big malls and problems. Then the rural part is like, wow where did that come from? No traffic, few people or stores, wineries, apple orchards, fields with corn, tomatoes,,little quaint towns, and lots of little places to throw a line in.We can skii here, mountain bike then if we want go see the Jets,Giants, play football or see the horses race.Anyway there’s something for everyone! You need a ring in the other ear if you want to be successful in college!!
Hi CPO, my guess is Andrew will do great in college with 1,2 or 0 ear rings.Great work ethic, scraped together enough "odds and ends" scholarship money to go to college.I wouldn't have worn an ear ring myself, but I was a product of 50's and 60's. PROUD of this young man!
Thanks MT for the positive comment! I wouldn't try that either at this point in life, but it's super exhilarating watching it close hand. Tom

Remarkably Gary Fisher and "associates" in Marin county modified Schwinns
to do pretty much what the athletes in your photos are doing.
Schwinns were the proto mountain bikes.
I owned a Schwinn myself when growing up and even though it was capable of great things, unfortunately I wasn’t. But I loved just delivering newspapers with it at 5:30 every morning before school.🤡

Great shots of doing the un-thinkable daredevil things.
You know what’s really cool is they think everything is possible so they do a trick then do it again adding more to it.
Thank you Ernest, every athlete has their own way of flying thru the air-I love watching at this point.
