I ordered an inexpensive ($20) adapter which allows me to take my old minolta lenses and use them on the a6oo. I ordered it from B*H on Thursday and receivved it on Saturday. Of course now I have to figure out how to use them and if I need to upgrade to Sony e lenses and try to sell the minoltas.

Thank you for your commiserating on Sony's problematic software. After a tremendous amount of time fiddling around, I found two mistakes I had made. First I didn't take off the Otterbox cover off so there could be contact with the nfc point on the camera. My biggest mistake however, was to not turn off the point of contact that the Iphone made with my wifi connection. This allowed the Sony software to make it's own point of contact. I received some helpful videos from the "hogs" for which I'm extremely grateful.although I'm not sure my terminology is accurate but this did work for me. Good luck.

Yes I called the memory card the chip. One of the reasons I bought the camera is so I can get pictures through WiFi.

i followed instructions for tethering my camera but always reached a point where it just did what we used to call the "pinwheel of death." I am using what I believe is Sony's free software (playmemories). Please help.

I had a '56 convertible. There was a slight difference in the door handles from the '55. This picture is definitely a '56.

I think the pictures are really fine. Sometimes reality is sacrificed with too much manipulation. I think they are great as is.

I think that little spot under the eye might have been left by the sandman. I'd leave it.

All my word processors have spell and grammar check but I do not use grammar check as it isn't always the way I wan't my sentence constructed. Also spell check must be carefully inspected for meaning. e.g. I usually have dinner on the "deck" in the summer. If I hit s instead of d my spell check might correct it to "check"; a legitimate word but certainly doesn't make sense.
