here's a rock that i like:
thanks to all for feedback.
in southern utah/north az. truly unique place. i recommend a guide who drives their own 4WD vehicle. deep sand in spots. my guide let air out of tires to increase traction. fun time!
you've caught a winner1. well done.
those are wild colors you've captured. well done. looks like the algae is quite alive!
thanks for the suggestion doug.
was there for sunrise photo tour; well worth it!
we were snowed out last spring.
#3 is a dandy! sweet light captured!
i second warhorse's comment. LRC, the baby brother of PS, is included in the $10 /month subscription. it has come a long way with improvements. i bet most of us could use it alone for 75% of our photos. tons of free tutorials on youtube, of course.
two cents given...

after hearing a podcast years ago i tried auto ISO. the results were terrible; my nikon picked ISO 1600 for most shots. my shots were taken in the day, w/some shots containing shadows. lots of noise in the shadows. never again.
i shoot manual and most of the time ISO 64.
thanks for the feedback. i shoot my nikon d810. crested butte is great 3 seasons.....fall is fabulous. it's a ski town....so it gets a lot of snow (i left out winter season). it's an outdoor haven for sure.
in colorado. i bet the residents in these "cabins" enjoy their morning coffee. north of crested butte.
