Great job as always on the captures. AI is just what what some of the others have said it's Sharpen & Denoise all in one. Just another tool in the chest at least that's my opinion for whatever that's worth.

Love the stiff arm in the first & possible stiff arm in the last. All the rest are your usual stellar work.

All shot with a D850, 70-200mm, F2.8, Auto WB & ISO, SS listed with the photo.

The painful part was the 1st & 3rd shots watching my grandson getting slammed to the turf he held on to the ball in the 1st but not the 3rd photo. I don't think the 3rd photo is usable without Topaz AI.

Thanks for looking any and all comments welcome.

All of the remaining playoff drivers and a number of other teams were at Homestead Miami last week to test. This is the first time that the Next Gen cars have been on the track here. Lots of laps and hard work in the garages to try different set-ups and to gather data both for the upcoming Dixie Vodka 400 and other 1.5 mile tracks. Was also good practice for me as I was using the RF 100-500 and 24-70 for the first time for motorsports.

I like this set. My question is what are they doing to the tire in the last one.

Give us a subpar photo every so often, that way we can think even the man isn't perfect.
Great job as usual.

Only one more Haverling volleyball match to shoot, but these are a few of my favorites from a recent match. Shot with a Z9, Nikon 70-200 f2.8 S, Auto ISO in the 5000-6400 range, wide open at f2.8 and shutter speeds at 1/1000th - 1/1250.

I find at this level, there are not a lot of opportunities to capture images of the hitters going above the net. Consequently, most of my shots are from the sidelines. On some occasions, the refs will allow me to stand right behind the ladder that opens up opportunities to get more of the faces in the shots. In those instances, it is understood I stay out of the way, and at most, I keep my leg up against the bottom rung of the ladder. I essentially become a part of the ladder. That adds a nice element to the shoots!

I'm also experimenting with Topaz Photo AI. The jury is out on that, but these were run through it for grins.

Great job on capturing the intensity in the girls eyes.

That's about as close to the front as I would get. Nice captures on both.

Great job I love 1, 2 & 8. Maybe crop #5 in portrait or get ride of the lights in the background. Just my 2cent opinion.
Again love the work your putting in.

Good job on exposure, SS. You could use a little more reach for the last 2.
