Assuming the child in the photo didn't move (and she didn't) what would cause this double exposure look to the head of the upper child. ?? Canon 6d with 24-105.

I picked up a 3rd party battery grip for my 5d M3 for the same reasons as you. For the most part it is just ok, but when I get into multi shoot speed shooting (when I need it most) it tends to lock up on me. I get a flashing error code and it stops working. I take it off and the camera is fine, but I've lost photos. I don't tend to use it much for this reason. Good luck, but in the future I wont buy off brand again.

Google and take a look at Circle B bar ranch. you could spend the day there shooting from sunrise to sunset.

I should add rt 41 had a road side ditch the entire length. it is full of gators and you will have plenty of opts to park and see them. Be advised and don't get too close to the tall weeds at road side. yes they are everywhere down there. Shark Valley is sweet, but you might not have time to ride the tram....... you could park and walk part of it.

many roadside places to stop alone rt 41. short boardwalks that lead out into the mangroves. Be advised to watch your speed, as you pass through Indian Reservation land. Google Corkscrew Swamp, if you have time and it's close to your destination, it is worth the stop.

Birdpix, based on what you said, would you think it best to have first set to focus (that being a priority) and 2nd set to speed ??

A few weeks ago I questioned the overall speed (clicks) of my new 7DM2 while using back botton focus. I've tried more and learned more and that creates more questions. So I've noticed while shooting a moving subject (snowboarder headed down the slope toward me) that while holding the BBF botton and shooting rapid fire, the speed of the shots per second slows. With BBF non pressed the shots per second speeds up. So I have to ask, if I were in AI Servo and NOT using back botton focus would it not be the same as the camera would be in constant refocus mode whether the focus came from the back botton or the front botton. So that makes me wonder when Canon says the camera can take 10 frames per second, should that come with a *(if) your using the correct mode ??? Rated a great camera for wildlife and sports, would not a user shooting birds in flight and a football game not be in AI Servo mode and if so he no longer has 10 frames per second. Should I assume that all/most cameras lose shots per second when using AI Servo or BBF ?

I get it. there was a custom setting on how accurate I want the focus to be. The sacrifice could be speed. ? Will look into that, thanks

I use back botton focus and don't plan to change but I have noticed when I am shooting moving subject in AI Servo I am holding down the back botton focus botton to allow non stop re-focus. When I do that and I am shooting at the same time, I find the frames per second to slow down. If I let go of back botton the frames per second speed back up. I didn't notice it on my 5dm3 but now using the 7dm2 and the rapid 10 frames per second it is more noticeable. Is this right and if so , why does it happen. you would think that a fast frame per second camera is made for sports and or moving subject and if subject are moving then re-focus would be key. ten frames per second would also be key. Please keep response on subject and thank you in advance.

I had the same lens brand new a few yrs ago and it did the same thing. it does have a lock on it as you may know, but I didn't like locking and unlocking it. I missed shots that way. I did send it back and the were able to tighten it so it would not extend it self while hanging down.
