Sort of reminds me of the artist fence around Jackson Square, on a smaller scale, in New Orleans. Ever sell any Bob?
Don

Looking from Magic Island Waikiki at sunset at a distance of 1/4 mile offshore ., I caught two different fun things people were enjoying …
I thought I’d take a stroll to Kakaako Park at the end of my street here on Oahu to watch the sunset .. We’ll .., I wasn’t disappointed ..
Finally The site would allow me to download the photo ….
Using equiv 1,000mm directly into the sun in order to capture a Missile Cruiser out of Pearl Harbor on security patrol at about 7 nautical miles out .. God bless our men and women of all branches of the service ..
The second shot is a paddle boarding local who is out most every evening …
For some reason .., it won’t let me attach photos anymore …?
Fridays are Magic as the different size sailboats rally to go to open ocean for some fun sailing and competitive racing … here are just a few …
Every Friday at the Waikiki Yacht club at about 4:30 pm .., a whole gala of sailboats sets out for some fun racing and get together..
The sun is just hitting at the right angle and make the whole scene Magic ..
NO .., BUT THIS one I happen to catch buzzing low over me and the building 1/2 mile from me .., and that was 5-6 miles from the runway ....if it had been a regular approach of other passenger aircraft that I witness almost daily , it would have been no biggie ..as they are a few thousand feet higher at least with no concern to anyone .., but in this case it was the only plane I have witnessed coming to Hawaii that far from the runway so low on final .., and it just happened to be an Amazon Aircraft ..so I took a shot of it ...
I know Amazon delivers , but at least wait til the plane lands …
I was sitting on Magic Island when I heard a rush of air and the sounds of a Jet aircraft.., by the time I swung the camera around and took the shot the plane was 1/2 mile away .., buzzing overhead at a low altitude .. I could see that it was indeed Amazon heading for its hub at Honolulu International Airport ….
The airport is still 6 miles away …
At the end of the day .., the last paddle in against a Waikiki setting sun , we have a straight into the sun shot at equiv 1,000mm over 1/4 mile off shore . Great clarity , even the canoes night running light can be seen …

Really great shots. Well processed and presented. Just a side note: You couldn't get me in an Osprey even with a gun in my back.
Nor me ... Tricky to fly and just too many accidents ,, reminds me of the the first CH-47's Chinook by Boeing ..,built in 1961 and went into service in 1962 .., until today , 1180 have been built .., and there was the CH-46 Sea Knight ..,
They had engine and transmission problems killing so many of our young boys ..until they got it fixed ..
