Nice one.
You no longer need a camera.

Don't worry, there is no going back with this generation.
The next generation may think differently, but that wouldn't be something that you and I will have to worry about. We wouldn't be here, although I am not in a hurry to go anywhere yet.

I think the reason for the excellent service is not so much the workers but the computerized system they have designed whereby the product is selected from inventory, packaged, labeled for shipment and transferred to the loading dock without being touched by humans.
Amazon workers were on strike a couple of days ago as Amazon don't recognise Unions but it appears that the workers that were on strike belonged to a Union as their representative was demanding a higher wage for the workers. Apparently, from the time you are logged in Amazon tracks your productivity.
A photo was shown on the television clip of the inside of one of Amazon's depot and although the parcels are picked by a robot, I saw two employee putting tape on parcels, so there are some jobs that are not totally mechanised. On the other hand, could it be that perhaps those parcels weren't correctly wrapped in the first place, but of course I don't know that.

I like doing business with Amazon but caution everyone to make sure you are dealing with AMAZON! Look to see if they are the seller or if it is a "sponsored" seller. I have had a few problems ordering from Amazon but only with these sponsored sellers. Now if I see something I like, I check to make sure it is actually from Amazon. I bypass anything showing otherwise.
I never knew that. Can you please explain what to look out for?
I am a Prime Customer (UK) which means that I pay a subscription once a year and most things are next-day delivery which I take to mean from Amazon's warehouse. The other sellers usually state when to expect delivery.
Perhaps I had one of those that you are referring to last week when I got a message from Amazon informing me that the Seller hadn't stated when the product would be posted and that I could cancel it. I didn't cancel the product but about 5 days later I got a message from Amazon that they had not heard from the Seller and have cancelled the product and my money will be refunded to my bank account.
I must say that I have not had any problems at all and when I have had to contact Customer Service to state my point if I wasn't happy, I was given a refund and told to either keep the product, donate it or dispose of it. I usually kept it.

9:00PM last night I ordered 2 portable hard drives. Amazon immediately thanked me for the order and said they would be delivered Friday. 5:00AM today they sent a message that order will be delivered today. Is it any wonder they are growing so fast with this type of service? Love-em
I am another convert too! They are amazing. I would better spend my time doing something other than traipsing around shoos only to be told “we don’t have that”.
Unless the photo was going into a competition there is no reason to remove the bag.
The picture tells a story as it is.
Oh dear! That is not like you.

I bough this printer, Epson Eco Tank ET 8550, in june 2022 because i like the fact it printed 11x14 and more. I've had 4 of these so far in 7 months all being replaced due to defects and printer not working properly. I like the fact of the ink tanks but after printing 11 x 14 I wind up with puddles of ink on the inside which gets deposited on the paper back side. So far Epson has no reason except i print borderless and this is the over spray on outside edges.
I find it hard to believe i have to mop up this ink after 10 or more prints to prevent this. due to amount of paper wasted I've bought another brand of paper beside Epson, which is 2x more expensive. seems Amazon only has a limited selection of 11x14 paper. I bought PPD Gloss 68lb paper. SKU PPD-113.
After going through 4 different NEW printers, as I refuse to take a referbished, I'm getting fed up that this model is just a dud.
Any hogger have this printer and do you have issues. Epison tec
support has me jumping through hoops as asking for my reciep multiple times, even though I bough it from their store. I always keep records and supply them with their paper work duplicate times.
I love the way prints come out but Im on my 4th unit.
I've attached some photos of the inside ink pooling.

Go on to their site and write a review of your experience, but warn them first. I wouldn’t be surprised if they give you a new machine and ask what else they can do for you.
I threatened a well known printer company when I hadn’t used their 3 months free in within the time and when I first printed I got a bill. I contacted them and told them they hadn’t made it clear on the Amazon site and that I was going to make a review to warn others. They offered me 15 prints a month free for ever. If I go over 15 prints I am charged £1 and can print 15 prints. I make sure that doesn’t happen often.

The oven was too hot. Maybe it is the first time but I am sure most of it is OK.
Having seen one of those repair videos mentioned, I would say that anyone who can use a screwdriver will be able to repair the lens or the camera.
The video was about 45 minutes and I would be willing to do the repair myself if it was my camera. Perhaps you should have a look at the video.

Long Ago and Far Away
I am going on 90 years of age and do not expect to be around in 10 or 15 more years. On my departure, I expect my trove of images will not be of interest to anyone I know, so if you will bear with me, I would like to share some pictures that I did save, not because I think absolutely superb, but because I like them enough keep and want to share.
My older photos were almost totally taken with a series of Nikon F Series bodies and mostly Nikor lenses. As age and decrepitude set in, I sold all that equipment and purchased Nikon point and shoots…P90, p610 and recently the p950 which restored my access to telephoto distances. I have been criticized by some UHH’ers for my later choice of cameras, but I now have a “toy” camera which fits my needs.

I didn't say I didn't understand it, and I understand why professional photographers would want a backup camera. I'm not a professional photographer and in the 20+ years I've been doing digital photography, I've never once had a camera fail, never.
You better keep your fingers/woods crossed as the saying goes.
There is always a first time.
