Fortunately, its head and wings were still intact, and after spending time cleaning it, I staged it for a focus stacking session.
I choose the optics for the sessions based on the size of the specimen being able to fill the frame of the camera with what I want to showcase which in this case was a reversed mounted 50mm f/2.8 enlarger lens set at f/5.6 mounted on a partially extended bellow.
This session consists of 203 images taken at a step distance of 35um with constant diffused LED illumination and processed with Zerene Stacker
