Thanks everybody for your positive encouragement
I spent a couple of enjoyable hours at sunset on Saturday Night at Narrabeen Lake on Sydneys North Shore. This drains into the ocean.

Hi Dixiegirl. Thanks for your feedback. You may enjoy these 2. They are strongly cropped so detail starts disappearing if you enlarge to much. The shot with the cormorants beak open shows a small fish about to be swallowed. The gulls were along for a free feed as he aggressively dived into a school of very small fish. They were constantly picking up the crumbs.
The shot I really wanted to share is second one. It was taken while the G20 summit was underway in Brisbane. Putin the Russian president was in attendance and the Russians sent down a small flotilla of the Russian navy to our waters and they sailed close by our coast while he was here. When I saw this shot it reminded me of this and the picture it painted for me was a submerging submarine flanked by two Frigate class warships. The sub of course is the diving Cormorant and the Frigates the seagulls. I hope you can enjoy my moment of humour.
Hi Dave. Thank you. The different settings in my camera made a big difference when I was processing this shot in Lightroom. I was also really good to be able to access the areas in Raw that a TIFF file in lightroom does not offer. To name 2, White Balance and the real Lens correction
This is one i processed tonight after the Lightroom update came through. Its shot at 2000ISO 1/200 F9 800mm
Photoshop has new raw plug in 8.7
Hot off the press. I have just downloaded the latest update to Lightroom its 5.7 and its appears to be downloading my raw files from the 7DMkii. Dont know what the situation will be in Photoshop will find out soon.
You are absolutely correct. I checked up references and it is a Little Black Cormorant. Thanks for the education. Appreciated.
Thanks. It's all lots of fun. So many buttons,so may possibilities, you can never get bored.
