BIF is an art unto itself. Framing and lighting are always an issue. Great results.

I was taking Eagle shots at the Conowingo Dam in Maryland and caught a nice wing shot of a bald eagle. It was a windy day and the flag at the dam made an interesting shot. After I got home, using Photoshop Elements 14 I put the two shots together and got this shot. The dam is an amazing spot for Eagles, Cormorants, Osprey and Heron.

I got lucky because the weather around here has been horrible for the last month or so. This happened to be a bright sunny day so everything like lighting fell into place. They have quite an appetite, the guys feeding him their fish said he had already eaten three other fish.

I saw this Black Crowned Night Heron mooching lunch from some fisherman at the dam today. This type of heron is very small compared to the Great Blue Herons as you can see by the bottle of Pepsi he's sitting next to. He played with the fish before flying into a nearby tree. Cool bird.
