Mercer family is a big GOP supporting bunch. Soros pulled out of American politics due to the misinformation about his financial support. But he is the straw dog the right wing loves to beat upon, since donors like the Koch's and Hunt's and others give huge amounts to support their tax breaks out of the wallets or folks like you Dennis who is paying for these rich guys (unless you tell me you are rich also and want those breaks to continue for your personal stake just like was done by DJT).

Sorry fella. Soros has stayed away from funding politics for a while. He continues to write and give advice but knows his money is trivial compared to the money flowing in from wealthy right wingers. Have you considered that these folks get your v**e by advocating social issues (a******n, border control, etc. ) when in fact what they are doing is getting your v**e to take money from your pocket so they can continue to be plutocrats.

Whats with the Soros obsession. He hasn't put money in politics for over six years and has turned over his assets to his children. His fortune topped at $12 billion at one time. Compare that to the Koch fortune at $80 billion or the Mercer fortune at $20 billion- both top financiers of the GOP. It is like Soros much smaller fortune, even if he were politically active, exceeds just these two fortunes let alone the hundreds of others who give to the GOP only.

And you think that is OK? Ask the folks in rural areas already who have lost their local hospital and have to travel 200-300 miles for hospital care.

Nice list of the current status of hospitals but nothing about the troubles they are finding themselves. You can feel isolated from that until your hospital folds or cuts back or when the doctor upon which you rely finds his practice is sold to capitalists who then pressure the docs for patient flow, and ordering unnecessary tests just to generate revenue. That is the time you will understand the slowly evolving disaster that is happening to American healthcare.

Full disclosure my friend. I am a doctor and I work in a hospital and definitely not clueless. Perhaps you should look in the mirror before deciding someone is clueless. What I have described is a slow disaster affecting American Medicine. It will affect you if it has not done so already.

What is happening to hospitals is not a political issue. They are being taken over by Vulture Capitalists (look them up - for instance look at what happened to Toys R Us which was ruined by vulture capitalists) Vulture Capitalists see hospitals and medicine as great sources of revenue and have no knowledge of medicine nor do they care. Many hospitals have been driven to bankruptcy by these thieves and major big city hospitals are under stress from the same bunch. Many docs and other medical personnel have retired or moved as these greedy bastards extract as much cash as they can from the medical system. There oughta be a law against this bunch being involved in medicine which is not an optional part of our society.

I own a Honda CR-V. Works perfectly but one issue- the advertisement for the car is gas mileage of 28 miles per gallon. What I get is 17 miles per gallon. Dealer has checked it out and says everything is OK. I will get rid of it soon for an electric vehicle.

So sorry to object to your feeling that the hospital problem is due to Biden. The real issue is that vulture capitalists (if you don't know that term you should look it up) vulture capitalist have learned that hospitals are great sources of cash and the ability to float loans so they can make huge amounts of money and take that money away from the hospitals. Many rural hospitals have already closed due to this ( too much debt) and now larger urban hospitals are reporting troubles and some will close due to this takover of medical care by MBA run cash stealing. It is also happening to doctor practices being taken over and robbed of money forcing many to limit care or close. This is capitalism run amok (and is the same reason that outfits like Toys R Us failed due to vulture capitalism).

Trumps only accomplishment was to get a bill passed early in his term rewarding the wealthy by raising the national debt over 8 trillion dollars. Otherwise he was too incompetent to do much else except approve judges hand picked by the Federalist society to among other things get rid of Roe v Wade ( good work if you disapprove of a******n under any circumstances and also feel that men should have absolute control over women).
