Today I used my new Canon 300 2.8 II to capture this Osprey and it's salmon.
Hand held at 600mm at a distance of about 150 feet.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 300 2.8 II - Canon 2x III - 1/1000 - f/11 - ISO @ 1000.

Great Shot with my favorite fish to eat.

Believe me, I know there are lots of beautiful butterfly photos, but they sure aren't easy. I've been trying for a couple of weeks now. I just got a "new" used Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 "micro" lens. I cropped this way down, and still got an amazing photo. At least I think so. I'm just so excited to be able to post something.

Great Photo, I also have problems trying to photo them, they just will not sit still long enough.

I understand this happened last two days off Thomas Point. Hearsay, but far shore looks familiar. Not my photo. Source ID sub Rosa, but reliable.
