Thank you. The cemetery here is in fantastic shape and is gated which keeps a lot of the riff-raff out and keeps the place clean. The workers do a super job keeping it looking great.

In honor of Memorial Day, I wanted to share a few shots of the National Cemetery here in San Francisco. This cemetery is amazing and the weather here this morning was really great for the service which began around 10:30 am PST. There are around 32,000 people buried here and the cemetery is open to the public each day from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

I am very lucky to live so close by and as a still living veteran (USN), greatly appreciate those that gave their lives for us to be able to live and have the freedoms that we do today.

My shots were quickly taken with a Canon 5DIV with no processing. Also a few of the last shots were of the cliffs and cost near Baker Beach and Sea Cliff area on the way back home.
