I was just there last week. I must have been looking over your shoulder or something because I took the same pictures, except for the Le Hardy Rapids. We did not stop there. It was my first time in the Park and I was absolutely floored by its grandeur.

By the way, great shots!!

Everyone knows the smartphone and tablet cameras leave an awful lot to be desired. But for sending images across to someone, most of these smart devices make that a snap. So when I take the fantabulouse picture can I grease the process (meaning no camera-computer finagling) with a whiz bang gadget. You hook it to the iPad with a USB cable and slip the camera memory card in and you can see all the images and transfer that masterpiece to the photos folder and thence to an email. Any such gadget or toy exist?

Check this out. There are several less expensive versions of this on Amazon, but if you want one that is Apple supported this is the way to go. I purchased one of the knock offs from Amazon a few years ago and have had no issues with it.

This was taken last month. I just got around to doing a little editing on it. He was sitting on a light pole across the street.

Went to Kerry Park to photograph the Space Needle in the evening and night. Comments are welcome!

Great photos. My daughter lives about three blocks from that park. I have been there a few times but don't have the photos to prove it.

Manito Park, Spokane, Washington is a very large park that also contains the Japanese Garden.

I grew up just a few blocks from there. Beautiful park and fantastic pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Has anybody ever used any of the camera/lens rental sites? Just wondered which one was best? Which you recommend?

I have used Lens Rental, http://www.lensrentals.com
and been very satisfied with them.

Engrossed in shooting #1, I almost didn't hear the sprinklers behind me also come on. Two seconds before it would have been disaster for the T3i - and then I'd be down to zero cameras :|

Canon T3i, 55-250 mm kit lens. PSE 12 and lots of play in Nik Color Efex, Topaz Detail, Topaz Simplify. Picasa mats.

Thanks for viewing!

Very nice. I really like #2

I was out for an afternoon walk and took advantage of a clear sky for this picture. The building in the foreground is a popular West Seattle restaurant, Salty's. Please try the download
