I definitely won`t.....I picked 2 cameras and ended up with one. I know how well it works at least for me. More keepers than not.So I don`t go back and re read this its menu was a bit of a challenge there is not really anything I don`t like...RX10M4

that's a good way.I.don`t have to change lenses but just have to change settings....going from stills to either 4k or slo mo @ 240....420 or 960 fps...240 and 480 are usefull 960 is too much...I do wild life so this combo may work really well...anyway will be fun

The RX Sony line the M4 is the top...From there its the A9...Without lenses its another $400 for just the body. The RX is a bridge...great lens that is fixed. Looked for a rumor about the M5 and called Sony...no news of an upgrade. I have no idea of how Sony could make it better. A 600 lens for an A9 would simply be unreachable money wise

Same camera make and model as a back up? I tried to come up with a different model but I cannot find a better camera for me or what and where I shoot. Finally got the menu and settings correct. Please don`t hit me with why or be sarcastic. This is honestly the last camera I will buy.I respect you all and as a side note this was a complicated menu to learn. It is a Sony RX10M4 and the images have been sharp.I could drift off to a M3 but the AF is slow.I guess my question is...Those of you that have a goto camera and a backcamera is the backup camera the same? Yea or Nay?

Yes....gonna be a big yes...backup RX10 will be for my son to use. The menu itself will be a good lesson in photography...He will also have some very good images to inject some excitement in photography

So down to a quick reply...I was reading or trying to reread...the post.I just put way too thinking into this. And no...I am 71 (no excuse) and haven`t had a drop of liquor or 26 years. Drugs never did me any good so you could tack on another 10 years of abstance. So I think I was plain overthinking this question. On my part. Reading this kind of embarrasses me. It was only having the same exact camera as a back up. Was this foolish. NO I know no better camera to have a spare. If I write anorther question I hope it comes out more literate.
