No, I hardly watch T.V.

Well, then my joke won't have any meaning for you. "Tim" (played by Tim Allen) hosted a handyman repair show many years ago and his neighbor "Wilson" always had his face hidden by anything on the set that could block his image. sorta like the person who never wants his picture taken. I was looking for that bird's face to be blocked by something.

What size camera bag do you think you'd need?

A grandmother's purse would probably work...have you seen the assortment of stuff they pack in one of those? lol

I have a IMac and have a remote Hard drive in which i'm transferring files from it to my hard drive as a back up. The files in "Photos are NEF files" when I copy them to the hard drive by dragging them to the external drive they are no longer NEF files but somehow are converted to JPEG files. I would like to edit some of them in LR classic. Should I not worry that they are not in the original format? Is this something to be concerned with?

I also have a external back up drive connected to the Imac and have back ups using time machine.

I have spent days organizing my photos and did not notice that the format of my photos changed on the secondary drive

Hope this all makes sense.

I've never heard of a copying method that will change an nef file to a jpeg file. Do you have this pre-programmed in somewhere? I have copied hundreds of thousands of images from my desktop to an external HD and never had this happen. Maybe I don't exactly understand what you are saying?

I could not get mine to work either, then I discovered the opacity was all the way down !! I set it to 100 and works like a charm!!

Mine is at 100 and it still works like crap. The only time that I can get it to work halfway decently is to set the brush for a size 1.

"Golden Eye" and also "Contact."

Yep, that's the one. Golden Eye was one of the better Bond movies. I liked that nut that kept clicking the pen and his assistant was really a charmer.....

This is an initial picture, leaked to the press, of Canon's newest 1400mm lens. Meant to compete with Nikon's f/0.95. Will attach to any body, with the specialized adaptor. Comes with its own mounting flange. Filters will be available in January. As soon as the photographer counts to 3, remember to duck a split second later. There will be no re-takes.....

I captured this image at the Battle of Moore's Creek Bridge, east of Pender county NC. This was the site of an important Revolutionary War battle. Patriots defeated a regiment of Loyalist Scottish Highlanders from Cross Creek, a settlement near the Cape Fear River. Every time I look at this, it gives me the creeps and makes the hair on my arms stand up, thinking that this could be the last thing some Loyalist troops saw when they came out of the swamp.

For Nikon users: if you were to buy a new camera body today(ignore any current price deals) which of the following would it be:
D850
Z6 II
Z7 II
I have a D500 and both DX and FX lenses. Just want to add a full frame body. Do BIF with the D500 & 200-500. Looking for the ability of full frame to provide higher resolution and better low light/ISO capability. Really just like fooling around with these fantastic cameras and their capabilities . Body weight is irrelevant to me. Not sure I would need the 45mp capability of the Z7

For low light, there is only the one choice. The Z6 II. I have the Z6 from last year and it is the most incredible low-light camera, rivaling the D3s. I use mine all the time in gyms with lighting as low as a church at night..... And it's great for landscapes, portraits, but the sports and low light is where it really shines.
