Where in FL? I'm in Venice and am interested

Hi Oso - thanks for asking. I am in Largo by Clearwater. I do have another person that is mailing a check for this item, but if it is cancelled I can let you know. Thanks! Mike

Offered- like new full frame Sony E-mount lens 24-240. Would make a good walk-around lens, covers many common focal lengths. Includes original box, instruction papers, Sony lens hood and caps and 72mm ProMaster CPL filter plus a ProMaster UV filter(both Japan made) with their original containers. Again from my brother's estate. Thanks for looking.

"or a thumb drive works too." yes, that's probably the lightest solution..

I bought one of these
Yes, it serves half the purpose. You still need to attach an external HD to it to receive the copied files. Wish somebody would make an all-in-one unit.

I went to a few of these years ago. Really neat historical re-enactments, pioneer tents, open fire cooking, period clothing. Worth a trip!

Yes, very expensive for the amount of storage, either hd or ssd.. CDW lists a 1tb hd model for $139 with a 4-6 week wait.

"I've used a WD My Passport Wireless Pro on several occasions."
I checked- B+H no longer carry them, WD no longer has them on their website for sale, they do have a description of them but also say their product support will end 12-31-24. Amazon shows them but no pricing.
This is a great idea, how hard can it be to make such an item? It would save so much weight and space and not require an additional HD or computer. Can't find a comparable product.

I'd really like to find a self-contained self-powered backup HD or SSD that will accept SD and /or CF cards without adapters or need for computers/phones/etc. WD used to make one but I read it had a lot of problems and I don't think it is currently available. Any other alternatives?

Thanks for posting this video. We are going in 3 weeks and this was a good refresher. Full frame lenses do get heavy, can't afford to buy new m4/3 bodies and lenses just now to save weight. Nikon 810, 7500, 24-105, 100-400, GoPro, Canon p+s. Dry bag and backpack. OP- have a great trip!!
