Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I watched American Bandstand every day after school and met my husband in 1955 at a high school SOCK HOP. It was a great time to be a teenager.
Before anyone yells at me, let me hasten to say I'm not a "real" photographer. For this particular picture, and if it "has" to be an 8x10,
why not "Photoshop it"?
Negatives? I vaguely remember those! I still have a pile of them somewhere too! I know, I wish some could be somehow reproduced in a way I could get them into Photoshop.[/quote]
It is possible to make digital files from your negatives by scanning them. I have a Cannon Scanner which, supposedly, can do that but I've never tryed scanning them myself. There are services that do that for you.
My husband & I flew from Atlanta to SLC in mid June a few years ago, rented a car, and made great use of our Senior National Park Passport -
Moab was one of our favorite spots. We went to Arches early one Sunday morning and it was fantastic. We went to church in Moab and one of the locals told us not to miss Potash Road. (so named, I believe, because a potash plant is, or used to be, on the road.) It was unbelievable. Have Fun.
