Bill De, I get your point!
Thanks, MT
I'm using Picasa which shows all the relevant data. It's always been reliable.
Dngallagher, maybe be the shutter was replaced as well but the count, when I received it was at about 265 not zero.
I will check with opanda and see what that says.
Thank you all, guys.
Hi Leitz, shutter replacement was no mentioned on the invoice.
Phew!! It's the right serial, MMC so, I guess resetting is possible.
Jimbo.
Thanks again
Thanks MMC, never thought of that! I'll just go check
Nice one St3! Where does the suction come from I wonder?
Hi all, recently my Nikon D610 developed a focusing problem. Randomly it would just refuse to focus.
I sent back under warranty, but not to Nikon. They informed me that the prism box, (?), was kaput and they needed to order on from Japan.
This they did and the focusing is back to normal.
One strange thing has happened that I only noticed today!
When I sent in the camera there were over 8000 actuations recorded. Today I notice the last shot I took was 465!
As near as I can tell the actuation record was about 200 when I got back the camera. I would have thought that resetting in this area would not be possible, from a legal point at least.
Is this a normal thing when you have a new prism box fitted?
I await you expert opinions with interest.
Thank you.
Jimbo :)
Thank you all, guys.
MT, the best explanation, for me, anyway!
Jimbo :-)
High guys, I have the above camera and I've been playing with the fine tune. I understand the concept of fine tune but what confuses me is there are two settings. One is saved value the other is default.
what is the difference?
Thank you.
Jimbo :)
I have this very same problem! Had it for years. The only answer, for me, at least is to back them up somewhere else. No one on the the Picasa forum has been of any help whatoever. Just back them up.
Thank you all, guys! Much appreciated!
Jimbo
Thanks, ecobin. Glad you like it!
