Perhaps less the fault of the government (not a formula producing organization) and more that of Abbott Medical ( a formula producing organization which closed it's plant due to contamination).

Amazing how quickly things become political, although not only on here. Whichever side you are on, it's usually the other side to blame, while your side does things just right.

Maybe we should take some lessons from some aspects of Japanese life - there's a problem, let's fix it and learn something instead of wasting time and energy, pointing fingers and increasing division.

I was in the Army from Oct '60 and retired Jun '81. I did spend the year of Jun '67 - '68 in Vietnam. I was hit with a sad part of reference to my military career just last year, when I commented to my 51-yr-old daughter something along the line of not having received any recognition for Veterans' Day from anyone in the family - be it a card or a well-wishing comment or whatever. I wasn't complaining, as such, just making a comment. She responded something in return that the military is "just a line of work that someone chooses; and, that's up to them." I believe that she might have been thinking of other family members who are fire fighters, or whatever; but it hit me along the line of when I passed through California airports on the way back from 'Nam, and had to try to hide being in uniform. I will now try to keep a 'low profile' as Veteran's Day / Week come up again next year . . .

Welcome home brother and thank you for your service! Some people don't realize that the oath that we give to our nation is our solemn word that we will do our duty to our country and fellow men/women. Also most people don't know or realize that the monthly stipend that we receive is in actually a retainer we can be recalled to duty at any time. No need for low profiles on any day. As always "This we'll Defend" "Semper Paratus" Ex Army/U.S.C.G.!//

Hi - I am new to this forum. Also, I am relatively new to using a real camera for photography. I have used relatively cheap point-and-shoot and cell phone cameras for years. I jumped into the deep end of the pool with the purchase of a slightly used Nikon Z6ii (thank you KEH). I am very excited about learning to use this amazing piece of equipment. Does anyone have any advice for a novice to get up to speed quickly? And thanks in advance!

Welcome to the hog, good on ya!!! nice camera.....as another has recommended buy one of help books by Darrel Young and others, I've got the D. Young's book. In that book he describes how to set the camera up. I'm fairly sure the others have the same. What you want to do is give yourself a base from which to start and a way to reset the camera back to the base without having to go through the process over again. Open the book to where he starts setting up the camera, have camera in hand and as you read through how he describes how go set it up you set your camera at the same time. When your finished now you want copy your settings that you just did to "U3" all of the settings that you just went through setting up is now copied to "U3". Now select "U1 or U2" this has U3 has become your original settings. While your using and changing settings on your camera you can get back to the
original way you initially way you set it up. This is the way he sets his cameras up and of course each will have his/her ideas and how they want it setup. It gives you a starting point and you also don't have worry about changing settings as you can go back to the beginning so to speak. Enjoy....

TU Fly Nice you've got the best of both worlds, r/c and full scale! I tease full scale pilots that I can fly their acft but they can't fly mine. Most don't get it.

Tks Roswell... StanMax

The Bush plane is called "DRACO" which is a Wilga 2000 that had an extended wing, turbo prop. It could land on a dime, and with it's reversing props could negate any rollout and back into it's hanger. check out this video. Nothing like hooking up a thermal low down and speck out. Last Nov I watched out club president get a stiff neck for 80min flight with an Olympic II no less....
