They are day workers and new home construction crews speaking Spanish solicit 12-20 workers for the each job of the day. The contractors are absolved from I-9 verification since a "temp agency" is fulfilling the requirements of the employer. The workers probably get paid in cash at the end of each day. They are out laying roofs, foundations, etc. as early at 7:00 and go until dark. The same is true for lawn care, drainage and watering landscaping projects, ongoing roof, shingle and storm damage projects.
There's no way to get the true numbers for what they add to local economies since all you see is the expense side.
The same is true in The Villages and other retirement communities. Our economy would come to a full stop without them.

Those Laborers are taking away jobs from American Tax payers, the Myth is that Americans won't do those jobs, the t***h is that undocumented workers have depressed the prevailing wages to a point that it is more profitable to stay home.
