You have a lovely granddaughter. I love the face shot the best but all portray Kammy as a fun loving and beautiful young lady.

One of my granddaughters, 10 going on 27, used to love having her picture taken. Now, not so much.

Dennis

Thanks Dennis, she is definitely all that and more. I know what you mean I’m going to have a hard time finding a willing subject. The other grands are teenagers or adults.

Beautiful little angel. So sorry for your lost, but our (Arizona) gain.
Semper Fi,

Trust me that is great gain! You thought the sun shined bright before, you’re in for even brighter days! She brightens every room she enters.

This is my adorable granddaughter. She moved to Phoenix with her Mom (my daughter) a little over a month ago, it seems much longer! Kammy loves getting her picture taken. I really miss this little one.

I’ve read I need an ND filter outside, especially on a sunny day but not sure what kind or size to get. Is their a place to get that info? Will a lens hood eliminate the need for that?

[quote=jaymatt]Nice photos. If you think they are underexposed (and they might be--that’s a matter of personal taste with shots like these), you can change that in post-processing. I wouldn’t go more that a fourth of a stop if it were me.[/quote

Thx jaymatt. I have photoshop elements 12.

We are each our harshest judge on our own creations. To me your photos are very artistic in composition.

I am very critical of my work. I just alway want to improve but it seems I’m at a standstill at best or regressing. Thanks for the encouragement.

The best fix would be to get prints and frame them.

I’m very much a novice and am not quite sure what underexposed means, but I think these photos are wonderful, especially the first one.

Thx Charlie’s mom. Underexposed means not exposed to the light enough. They should be a bit lighter.

Mine don't last very long at all. They die even when there not in my camera.
