I's say lens flare from your camera. Do you use a hood on your lens? It helps eliminate the flare and is probably the angle of the sun to your camera lens, if you see it when viewing your image after you take your shot...try moving a bit and see if it goes away. Hope this helps. Cheryl
I like the second photo the best. I also travel with my camera just in case something is photo-worthy. You just never know when that great shot is going to present itself. I took a couple of a rainbow the other day. It only presented itself for 3 minutes, then it was gone. I got it! Not the best photo, but I was glad I shot it. Cheryl
I enjoy photographing broken down buildings, if possible before they are about to fall. It is sort of fun documenting them before they are gone forever. I like your composition. Cheryl
How precious! I love the light shining on the baby! Very cute. Cheryl
Okay, now I see the image. It looks like it is following the rule of thirds. Was it taken at sunrise or sunset, I noticed the slight orange in the sky? Cheryl
Hi, I see no picture. Try posting it again. Cheryl
Well, I have bought a refurbished camera from Canon. Actually two cameras and one lens with absolutely no problems. Everything looked brand new and comes with a 90 day warranty (I believe). I would do it again in a heartbeat. Hope this helps. Cheryl
I have never seen a Hummingbird Moth. They are kind of strange looking, but you captured it well. Thanks for posting. Cheryl
[quote=serrota65]OK, I'll try with a flash next time. Meanwhile, here's my lastest, which I think is an improvement, including what I believe is a Grosbeak, through a closed window. Please post your hummers here if you like.
Here are a couple of mine. I'm sad as they will be leaving to head south very soon. I just started photographing them this past spring. I was never a bird photographer, I've tried numerous settings...still trying for that best shot. I just love these little birds. Cheryl

This is great, good to laugh even when I'm here all alone. Thanks for posting. Cheryl
Beautiful photos. I used to use ND filters and a lot of other filters with my film cameras. I haven't one yet for my digital Rebel, need to get one. Do you use a graduated filter? How dark is the filter? I use a Polarizer and Skylight filter. Just wondering, thanks. Cheryl
Aww, the little one by your head is so cute. How very special this photo is. My birds are mean and I don't see them wanting to let someone ever hold them. Great photos. Cheryl
Nice color, it is fun to take photos of reflections/water and not to limit oneself to typical shots. Very fun. Cheryl
Nice shot, were you in a boat photographing? I assume so. Cheryl
Very nice, I love fall photos the best. Cheryl
