Hi Anni. Thanks for the welcome and I hope to post pictures soon. Ejk
I would love to get some good owl pictures. Does your wife post her pictures? I use to go with the rock club to dig for the crystals. Then they closed it down for a few years. Would love to go back now for the birding. EJK
Thank Guy. Is there one better that the other to make the sky pictures better?
Thanks guy. yes family is every thing.
Thank u Leslie for the welcome. Yes we have had some hot weeks. You are probaly to young to remember when Blackwell was hit by a tornado and was flattened, it was around 1955. What a nice picture of the owl. Where did you find the owl? They are hard to find. I've not had any luck getting a good picture of one yet. they are quick. Do you take pictures at the salt flats? Thanks again Ejk

I do a lot of differnt shots. Although I have done wedding I now know thats not what I want to do. I do love doing action shots in the arena and timed events. I record in pictures and posters what the cowboy church does. The guest singers. I do the ropeing and bullridings camps.
I am the mother of 5 sons, 21 grandchilden, 7 greats.
my family is spread out and I have lots of neat places to take pictures because of that.
I do get to travel with my sister and her husband to go birding. They live in FL. Last year we went to Alaska and this year Hawaii hoping to go to south America next year.
Those long flights just about kills us though.

6. I have a Nikon speedlight sb-99.
7. A Sony Super Steady shot dsc- h7 15xop zoom. Would you call this a bridge camera? I have used it a lot for movies.
I was wondering if these fillters are good ones. When I bought them I didn't know what I needed or what was good.
I am getting older and it is hard to get a good clear picture. I shoot in low light in the arena and the flash will not do well with out Investing in a set of off camera lights. I will be getting a new sholder joint... maybe then..
I tryed my sisters (has the new sony alpha 65). I find that camera a lot lighter. The way they bird is fast no time for me to set my camera on a tripod. I do use monopod some times. I just don't seem to not shake. Yes, I prop and lend on thing to keep it steady. I liked the idiea of useing string to steady if I get the chance. do you think I would benafit changing to a lighter camera? Thanks so much...Ejk
