Nice to hear from you, Kerry. Safe home to you, having moved lotsa $$$ from their previous pocket to where they'll do more good!
Strange old world we live in: My house is 4 miles from the town of Laguna Beach! I live in a senior community, which allows us here to spell your name 'Carefree'! I would be happy to provide you a sample of SoCal/South Orange County/Laguna Woods Village hospitality with a welcoming lunch.
I would simply crop off the snow (is THAT what that stuff looks like!) and make the shot a panorama.
Glad you enjoyed Crystal Cove and hope you took advantage of its many photo ops ... Dick
Guy's good, OK. Who and where is he, please?
Beautiful! I'm torn between 'that beach sand should be cropped out as too contrasty' to 'I can't imagine that shot without the sand'.
Very nice show, but I hope you'll forgive a couple of suggestions: I would enjoy some information identifying images and giving some info about them (on the sound track, spoken) and I think you should give music credits after the show proper. I know I would like a reference to the very pleasant and appropriate guitar/pipes tunes. Thanks for listening to my notions.
Have a Canon Pixma Pro which is near the top of my list of excellent photo devices. Prints 13" wide x Roll Paper and they're beautiful. Unlike Epson, you can go on vacation (my longest was just over 6 weeks) and come home to a perfectly functioning printer. Canon PIXMA PRO-10 Wireless Professional Inkjet Photo Printer (with 50 sheets free of Canon Lustre paper 13x19) at B&H Photo is $699, minus $200 rebate. (B&H doesn't cheat on rebates, nor Canon.)
I like the 'camera back packs' that Amazon sells for under $50. I have 2 Canons and 2 of Amazon's brand, and am ordering more (28 bucks).
What a disappointment: "The page cannot be found".
Great suggestion and great results!
Just cut yourself a negative holder (same size and shape as Epson's) with the required dimension for the hole in the middle.
How lovely! And a great story to go with. Thanks!
I've been wanting one of these for years, and my first thought on seeing yours was "If he can do it, I can do it" -- so I did it. B&H is frantically packing up as I write so as to ship before I regain my senses. Now, while you place the blame on all of UHH, I'm sure you can see that in my case IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT!
That's not all that's gonna break.
There was a Nova show on PBS that went into some marvelous detail about the Cathedral and its construction. No question, it is one of the grandest expressions of man's ability to create. I like your picture of it, too.
I can't help myself but to buy one and eat every bite! The only thing stopping me is I don't know where to go to do it (even tho I live in Southern California). Please tell me. PLEASE TELL ME!
