fantastic shot I do mostly family photos. thusly I know a pose like this is rare.
penalty for chin shadow 20 push-ups
neat in the last frame the sky is more blue in the reflection than it is in the top of the frame
Mostly I do family photography. I'm trying to get into commercial stuff. also wanted to see what my camera can do. I don't know if I should be impressed.
wadaya think???
wow my 105 mm lens gets nowhere near this ..what lens do one use for this result. I also assume it's cropped in pretty far also
another angle might be ok, but the blown out white is framing the bird nicely. the branch if closer to sharp, would add to content. a flood light pointed diectly at the feeder might work instead of the flash
thanks I wouldn't have thought to get the scene empty first.
I love how generous you are with info it helps a lot
wow I never noticed how drastically B & W changes the mood. In color it feels like 2 friends enjoying each-other, and music, hoping to make a few dollars. B&W they're 2 artists hopelessly stickin to they're cause. Thanks for posting I'm going to remember to switch to B&W more often.
great shots It looks like you could possibly get the branch in focus by doubling your f-stop, then triple your iso. Then use your speedlight off camera on a standnear the feeder. then the "cloud" in the backgound will look more like what it actually is and not need to fixed at all
great idea and nicely done.
does it take long to assemble after you get all the shots???
do you have to hurry the subject through the poses so nothing changes from first pose to last?????
I like this a lot do you layer it or perform it live. I've tried it live outside with "ho hum success" I had the subject spin the light around then jump sideways onto a target, then I trigger the studio strobe. total exposure 10 sec.
wow what lens do you use to get these>????
