Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:16 am EDT and 0'C (32'F) going up to 10'C (50'F) with sunshine.
Brioche class on Saturday was good. Lots of laughs and concentration. One lady was taking it for the second time. As soon as we finished, another asked when the advanced class would be held. They all wanted to do shawls with brioche. For most of those patterns, they already have the skills. After the class we drove quickly to the farm to pick up more bird seed because the squirrels have eaten everything. We took in a few of the bird feeders that the squirrels won't leave alone. Although the grackles are almost as bad as they pick through the seed to find the ones that they want (makes me think they're not that hungrey)
So Sunday was catch up for all the chores. Mum went to her sister's for the weekend, unfortunately my aunt's 1 bedroom apartment isn't really set up for company, so mum ended up sleeping on couch cushions on the floor. It was good to catch up with her sister and brother.
I figured out that I didn't have enough yarn to complete another pair of socks for DD, even shorties, so I frogged everything and gave her the yarn. She'll add it another project.

Those Grackles are like us. If we were at a buffet we would only eat our favourites.

I have a few problems when I need to use acrylic yarns; psoriasis irritates my skin and sets of new sites of psoriasis lesions, which are more painful than the lesions that form with no help from other source's, so I rarely use acrylic yarns. It doesn't help that most of my girls have many issues with, that includes my beautiful gdk's! šŸ¤”šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

I am now going to do a bit of a catchup, while I am having a reasonably good few hours. I really hope that everyone is having as good a day as possible, and those who are awaiting some medical treatment for continuing ailments.šŸ’–šŸ¤’šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ¤§ Hugs to all who need them! xoxoxo

I only knit with acrylic, as I am allergic to most animal fibres, including lambs wool.

Dear Friends, if you would please put Harold in your thoughts and prayers. He is in hospital and suffering.

I'm reading this nearly a week later. I can only hope that he is progressing well.

We have Downy woodpeckers (they're little) and now we have red bellied woodpeckers (who don't have a red belly at all). We have a pair so hopefully they will stick around.

That's a very pretty woodpecker.

If that project doesn't have your love, then frog it and start something else. I once finished a project that I knew I wasn't going to love. It sat for months before I finally frogged it and reclaimed the yarn. I guess I didn't have anything better to do at the time.
If the tax man sent the documents electronically would he accept them back the same way. Check with him. We have documents at work that we can "electronically sign". My signature is messy when I'm doing it by my finger but it is still recognizable.
It could be that Mooch found somewhere to deep sleep. Tazi does that sometimes. She is so deeply asleep that she startles when we touch her.
Good luck with your car.

I have my signature saved on my computer, so can add it to documents.

Sorry ladies. I have been AWOL again.

Alan has had his operation. They were hoping just to remove the gallstones, but there were more and bigger ones than expected, plus an infection. He had had to wait too long for the op. He now has four bullet holes ( keyhole surgery) including one huge one through which everything including a 1" stone was removed. He was sent home after a few hours, and was violently sick on the way home, from the anaesthetic.

Following all of which he will not stop and let himself heal. He's driving me mad.

I'll catch up now.

It was similar with me, fine until my brother was born and then I became a definite Daddy's girl and my brother took over for my mother. xx

My mother always preferred her sons, but I was the second child and a girl was wanted. My brothers have always adored me.

That must be so frustrating for you, to keep losing your lovely long messages. I'm grabbing another cuddle and giving one back (they don't work any other way)

I was told as a child that it was my fault that my parents got married. It took me years of trying to get over the guilt before I came to the realization that I didn't ask to be born so it couldn't be my fault. Both my parents got married because they thought the other had money, and neither did!!!
It was not your fault for being born.
I'm glad that Stephen is able to do some sight seeing while he is there.
Love you back Susan

I have always known that I was wanted and planned. Which explains my sunny outlook on life.
