I envy you being able to paint with very lovely results. I cannot paint anything that resembles what I want it to. I remember in school getting very low grades in art class which brought my grade point average down. Feeling very frustrated at the grades, as in my opinion, being artistic is a gift and not something you can learn.

I LOVE to paint I'm just not great at it.

I cut my hair again, I used the unicorn method. I cut off at least a foot or more it was so long, but now at least I'm not sitting on it or worried about it going for a dip in the bathroom๐Ÿ˜ฉ

This unicorn cut gives it nice layers with just one cut.

Just checking in so I do not get any demerits. All is okay in my little corner of the world. Trying to find something to fill these long dark hours. I had to give up trying to knit. It caused a lot of pain and problems with my arms and shoulders. I will wait a few months and try it again in the hopes I will be successful one day. Having more ultrasound tests on one shoulder. Maybe that will show what is causing the problems in that shoulder. If I get one arm to work I will feel blessed.

It pains me to hear your having arm and shoulder issues.. Like quite literally. My right one honestly still hurts all the time. I manage it by doing the Ortho exercises and needlework.. I've got two different racks that hold the project while I work the needle. It's wonderful!
I told the littles the other day that I'm a robot๐Ÿคฃ. The look on Miss Mina's face was priceless. Ricky wants to be a doctor so he inspected my scar and then kissed it like a real booboo healer.
I hope very much that they give you a reason I'm sure part of it is probably arthritis.. It's nearly unavoidable isn't it... But I'm also sure there's more. I just hope you get relief soon because I know it's miserable... You learn day one how much that shoulder connects to the chest, neck, back and arm.
Love and hugs y'all๐Ÿ’œ XOXO

Thanks for sharing your crafting. It has been a long time since I saw anyone needle felting. I think Josephine was into that for some time?

I remember that, everyone made such pretty pictures with it. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Lovely project. Are your fingers protected! I might try and clone Max one day! I love needle felting, it's such a compact, take it with you type of work and you can get really creative! I hope your grandchildren take after you. ๐Ÿ’•

I tried protected and unprotected fingers since this was my first time felting, I discovered what it was like to be a thumb sucker and a vampire all at once and quickly came up with a formula that works best for me. (I say quickly but I went through several fingers before reaching this conclusion, I'm not a quitter you see.)
The little flower is where I began to feel creative about it and got excited about the possibilities.

Embroidery seems like an old world art now. When I was a child that was the first skill I learned before knitting. For Christmas one year we were given our own baskets filled with new threads, little scissors, hoops and mini project iron on patterns. After supper we would all sit together an sew. Thank you for bringing back this fond memory, your work is absolutely beautiful and should be treasured! xoxo

Just finished two out of three pendants.. Miss Mina said she wants to pick one when they are done.. I know I could do all three in a day but it soothes me so I take my time and listen to audio books while I stitch.
