Good morning from a damp Surrey. Sorry jot to have been around much. Things pretty busy here. Will be visiting family in France soon so lots of things to sort out. Have a lovely friend who is going to look after Bentley. Putting together some patchwork to take with me although don't know how much I ll get done as DS is converting a barn into an apartment for us and there's lots of finishing bits to do.
Still been making more sunflowers, with more WIs in the area joining in.
Swimming is still going well and along with extra physio I m doing good, although still not able to walk much but not a problem as I have plenty to keep me busy.
Happy 1st April and happy Saturday. Luv and hugs xxx
Good afternoon from a bright and mild Surrey. It's Mothering Sunday here in the UK. My girls just dropped by for brunch after they'd been to the gym this morning.
Had a very busy week last week. A coach trip to see where they made the costumes for Strictly come dance. Such amazing fabrics and the costumes were fantastic. Then a talk with original costumes by historian on the Suffragettes. And last night was my daughter's final show, Chitty chitty bang bang, at her school. In September she is going to be head of Drama at the same school her husband teaches.
Still busy making sunflower brooches for Calendar Girls.
Happy Sunday everyone. Luv n hugs xx

Snow is coming overnight, just in time to be on the roads when I drive mum to her cataract surgery tomorrow. I've booked the day off and will be taking my knitting with me while I wait for the surgery to be done. It's at a private clinic so we won't have to wait, unlike the hospitals. The only good thing about private clinics. She already had to give them her credit card, in case anything additional comes up.
Everyone have a good day and stay safe.

When I had mine done privately I was in and out in about 90 mins and that's with having both eyes done. Wish your Mum all the best from me. Xx

The seaming on the cardi is not haunting me at all. It's sitting quite nicely in its bag just waiting until I am brave.
I've taking seaming and finishing classes twice and it still doesn't help, my seaming is terrible. I tried to convince DD to finish some prior projects for me, and I would pay her, but she was scared off by the number of projects that I have that need finishing.
Someone could really make money finishing projects.
