Wonder if anyone else has tried, or noticed....
Just recently been attempting to shoot birds in flight.
Kind of limited because the only decent lens I have is a Sigma 70 MM 2.8.
The point is... I have been noticing that I am able to get within 8 - 10 feet of Herons, Blue and Tricolor, if I keep the camera in my face i.e looking thru the view finder with the back button on continuous focus.
Seems that if they don't see my eyes they are not quite sure what to make of me.
Anyway.. attached photo is a Tricolored Heron shot last evening from about 10 feet.
70 MM, F4, 1/1000 sec ISO 1000
Original file 6000 x 4000 cropped to 2173 x 2173 then run thu Lightroom " Enhance " to 4346 X 4346
you are all quite gracious...many thanks
Lots of trial and error on this one !
Took me a while to figure this out but..... whatever file you first import a photo(s) to in LR...leave it there and don't rename it. You can export it and save that somewhere else. Hope this helps.
A huge Thank You for all the heartening comments!!!!!
