Although I replied earlier, I do have another couple of thoughts to add here.

1) Was wondering if the Op was using or thought about using a diffuser filter as this would have soften the models skin
2) Submitting your photos in a C&C isn't very wise as you're going to get a wide range of suggestions and most of them wrong or not so constructive. just another reason I may or may not post images online/in forums as they are not up for critique. It is what it is.

Thanks kindly @Photobum I still have a very long way to go coming from 35mm to point & shoot. I wanted something a bit more advanced. More Prime lenses on their way.

@christographer you have some nice shots, but you're working with some extremely rough material. Most of the shots highlight the deep features of the model which is very unattractive, while other shots are very professional. Some too dark while others are spot on.

My theory on this is, that I wanted to utilize old school lenses on a new school body. I've considered sony, fujifilm and many others simply because of their size, weight & image quality. As of Nov 21st. I went with my first Canon Camera the M6. But after attempting a couple old school manual focus lenses on the camera, I've had to step forward instead of step back and buy a couple of new school lenses. The small view screen & my eyes simply couldn't bare the strain. As one of the other posters said, asking a loaded question like this, one is bound to get a wide range of replies. Sometimes it might even mean going out and renting a camera first before you buy.
