The one that I'm looking to buy on e-bay has both constant light and left or right settings or flash. That's the one I'm ordering. I'll let you know how it works out after I get it.

The Macro forum is quite interesting. I'll get a little deeper into it tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm going to order the flash that I posted the picture of.

A ring flash, as in the title of this post. There are many on line for sale. The type that snap over the end of the lens. Kind of like the one on your avatar.

Lens for Car Show

I just shot one this weekend and my 24x85mm did a nice job. I usually use the 18-105 kit and it also does great. Don't forget the flash. If there is a lot of people, and there usually is, don't bother with the whole car. Try for some different stuff, like has been mentioned. Just have fun with it!
