Thanks for sharing. I have one like it, a 57 2 door BelAir Sport coupe (Hardtop without door post) that I built in 1967 and painted it with a can of orginal Tropical Turquoise laquer paint. It stll looks fair, but shows it age.
I also have a real one like my model that I completed a frame off restoration on in 2007.
Thanks again for sharing . Looks like you did a great job on the model and photos. I am new to SLR photography. My wife gave me a Canon Rebel T3 with two lens for Christmas. I have taken a lot of point and shot pictures. However I hope to learn more. I Hope to see more of your pictues.
Speedy
Thanks for for the web site I enjoy looking at the old cars. My first was a 50 Chevy that my dad bought new and gave it to me at 16, ten years later. My second car was a 17 and it was a 57 Chevy. I am still driving a 57 today but not the same one. Thanks again for the good memories.
Cars use to reflect the owner's like's. Like fenderskirts, flipper hubcaps, lakepipes Or Mag wheels and jacked up in the back a few inches. I like them all stock,or Hot Rod.
Nice shot of the 57 Chevy fin, I guess that you know that the gas filler cap is behind that chrome door on that fin.
Yes I have heard it on u-tube. It is good.
They say we can't go back but it's fun to see all the older cars on the road and to drive one. When you turn on the oldies music and drive around. Good times to remember when the world seem to be a better place. I dated my wife of 47 years in a 57 Turquoise chevy and Thank God we are still cruising in one.
May all of you have a Merry Christmas
Yes some did. But this is a better updated system.
Nice Shots. I own a 57 Chevy 2dr. sport coupe . It took me 12 years to rebuild it off and on. It's fun to drive and gets a lot of thumbs up. It has the orginial 283 powerpack and udated 4sp. auto. trans. It gets 20 plus MPG on the road. I added a few updated creature comforts like Air, power steering & brakes and power windows.
I hope to learn how to photograph my car. I just got a Cannon Rebel T3 with two lens for Christmas from my wife.
