We are planning to leave tomorrow to head up north to visit with our daughter in Vt. and cruise to New

I never thought I wanted an Apple watch. And then some things changed in my life and some of the built in safety features would be helpful to me. Well, have to find some items to sell in order to get one. Meanwhile, I made a DIY version. It's not easy to wear and doesn't text! But its an "Apple" watch!!

LOL

I enjoyed taking some watches and clocks apart
Not so easy putting back together but I slowly got the hang of it
Think these were parts left over from early attempts !!!

Must have small hands to do that.

My Father was a Horologist (Watchmaker and Jeweller) and worked at home
Our house was full of watches and clocks, ringing and clanging
I hated it so much i never owned a watch or a clock until I was in my mid twenties
Then between 30 and 40 I collected many many watches
About 3 years ago gathered them all up and sold them all to a collector
Nowadays I have 3 watches one for work and 2 best and 6 clocks
But mainly view the time on my phone
Sign of the times I guess
