I don't know how I missed this one Brian , this is absolutely stunning . I love the nebulosity and the faint clouds outside the nebula. HASTA LAVISTA GREEN is a must have tool. You got it going on out there in Cali.

Very nice image , the detail and nebulosity are great. It takes time to process , I walk away several times through my processing. I'm hoping to get back out after all this rain and start collecting data on the Running man , HH and Flame nebulae . Weather has put the KABASH on any imaging for a lil' while .

Oh yea , those flash flood rain storms can make your life a living ---- . We get them right when the ground is hard as bedrock and it just doesn't soak in Sonny , so you know where it goes right in the way of anything. I had to take the DEC motor and plastic cover off and "Jerry rig" it back together after a Plate solve drove it into the mount. It's always something with my po'man rig .

Thank you Sonny , figuring the setup process is always a pita for me when adding another piece of new equipment. I like the way it came out , I can't wait to run on it . The weather was in the upper 70's and now the bottom is dropping out again . Winter isn't over yet. Data collecting time Woohoo. It didn't come without my brain and body paying the price . My head hurts and my neck has my "good left side" in pain and it won't give.

White balance , that's it Brian thank you Buddy . I shot lum and the red channel cause it's been so cold . It's been a while since I did any processing of deep space objects , didn't even look at my workflow from my other dso targets , adding 2 more nights of data to it and working on m43 and the flame. I tested on all 3 collecting a lil' bit on each one freezing my tale off . Ed , got me going once again , Friday night ! the autofocuser setup was preventing a sequence . You doing alright out in the FIRE state? It was 79 today but, the freeze is coming back.

IC 434 HH nebula 30s@-20 live stacked 25L 10R10G10B collected during testing my autofocus routine. Stacked and combined in AIP4win and tweaked in pscs2 astronomy tools. Captured wih asi174MM cooled , mini 5 efw , moonlite autofocus w/miniv2 computer control , 8 in. astrograph , lxd55 mount.
