Nice shots! A new camera will be fun, but I checked the downloads and it doesn't seem to be required. YIKES! Did I just say new camera not necessary!!?! :D

Beautifull set! I LOVE the framing on the "photographer" shot, but I hope never to have my tripod as close to the edge as he does! Lol!

I would want all three, the Sigma for all of you interests, the Tokina 11-16mm for landscape (it's great for prominent fore grounds) and star, milky way and northern lights, and the Tamron for wildlife. If I had to leave one out I would substitute one of my medium range but slower zooms for the Sigma.
Btw I hope to be there next fall!
Have fun, and post your best when you get home!

Gotta admit, from the thread title, I didn't see that coming! Great color and composition!

#1 really works for me, I've never seen a live starfish, I didn't know they got so close to shore. Are they quick like a bunny or slower?
Very nice set!

In a word, NO! Also I would need to change my drawers, Good Lord!
The humorous ending was a nice touchthough.

It's one heck of an audacious achievement, Rossetta is working as planned so even if philae isn't perfect the vast amount of planned science will still happen.
Congrats ESA!

Thanks for the comment, Bassman. Hope you play a few for Glenn on Dec. 15th. By the way, does "Bassman" mean you play a bass? Glenn's young bass player in the civilian band was the irrepressible Trigger Alpert, who appeared in the first Glenn Miller film, "Sun Valley Serenade." But he was drafted before the second film, "Orchestra Wives," and I think his letters alerted Glenn to the fact that he and other draftee young musicians were not being used to their full potential in the military, which may have inspired him to join up. Jackie Gleason played the role of the bass player in "Orchestra Wives."

Yes and no, lol! I played "professionally" in the mid 70's. I made enough money to pay the rent and go to junior college, but I also worked in a restaurant so I could eat! Lol. I also like to fish, so the screen name has worked on other forums and I'm not clever enough to come up with a new one for photography. LOL.
:-D :-D
I do still play bass, but just "jamming" with old friends. :-D
Per your suggestion "In the mood" will echo around my neighborhood on 12/15.

Interesting info you have on Glen, his bass player and one of my favorite comedians, Jackie Gleason.

Beautifull picture. The colors are great, but the perspective really makes this shot!
