Jan, I might just do that if I could get him to leap out of all that algae. Thank
you for the nice comment.
Not wanting to miss anyone, hope it's OK to thank the kind hogs who made the comments about Charlie today. I'm just gobbling it up! It was an honor to serve.
It's a thrill to get the wonderful feedback. I've viewed your awesome pictures and wished I could tell you how much I enjoyed them. Indrajeet your bird images are beyond amazing.
Made me feel so good to get all the nice comments. Would have thanked you sooner but had to find out how to do replies. Now if I can figure out how to
get out of hiding, I'll let everyone know I hang out in Jamestown, Mi.
Thank you Earnest. I've been taking pictures since I was old enough to hold a
camera. It's a great hobby and in my 'golden' years it has given me something to do besides watching TV and rotting away in a chair. At present my 'guns' are a Nikon D7000 and a CanonSX50.
Thank you, Namwife. They are fun critters. Your avatar causes me to ask if you
are in the military. I'm a WWII vet - United States Marine Corps Women's Reserve.
I have several chipmunks who come around - they seem to
know when there's seed in the bird feeder. I make 'set-ups' for
them to pose in and they have provided some fun shots.
Thanks heaps for comments. I'm just getting my feet wet on posting and hope I don't screw up too much. When I registered and signed in as a new member I received welcomes from a few of the Hogs but didn't know how to thank them -
they'll know who they are - so here's a big thanks so much!
Great capture of one of my favorite birds!
Visited Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park in Alto, Mi. An amazing collection of wild life, provides lots of photo ops. Picture shot
with Nikon 3000 Nikkor 55-300mm
Thanks for the comments. They gave me a lot of encouragement.
Freddie does a great job posing on a lazy afternoon. He likes to hide in the algae.
I love the Stargazer Lily.
I've enjoyed pictures posted in UHH for several years. Posting seems a bit complicated, but I decided I'd like to give it a try.
I'm not in hiding - I live in the township of Jamestown in the
State of Michigan.
