Good timing, and good shot. What were the wolves up to? What were the daytime temperatures when you were there?

They varied between 50-60s. I have seen lots of elk and bison, only one moose, one black bear, coyote, fox, bald eagle, deer, big horn sheep, antelope. If you are patient and drive slowly, you will see animals. There was one bison giving birth one morning, but something went wrong and she died with the baby halfway out. People were just waiting for the wolves and bears to take over. The wolves were in a separate valley close to Lamar Valley, but too far away for my lens.

Hi, I was coming out in May but now I'm coming to Yellowstone the first week of Oct. I have lots planned for two weeks but I will arrive in West Yellowstone the 2nd and I think that may be a good base of operations. We want to see wildlife, waterfalls and the grand prismatic spring in particular. Plan on leaving there Thursday morning heading to Zion, and want to at least see Tetons, mountains reflecting in a lake would be good also. If anyone can give me a little direction that would be great. We are flying into Denver, my sis lives there and rates are much lower there. Thanks, Bud

I just got this the other day. I also saw 7 wolves in the Lamar Valley.

I mainly used Enhance in PSE 14....Rich

Thanks for the tip, I don't have PSE yet, and only used the Canon DPP software, which works pretty well, but not as well as Photoshop. I still need to go to PS instead of the Canon software to process my efforts. I do have PS CS5, just not as familiar with it. I guess it boils down to being too lazy to learn something new.

Not at all, I'm not very good a PP, but am learning. What did you do? Just increase the exposure?

Houston, we do not have a problem! Pocatello ID Costco does great job. They can print and give profile. I saw a several hundred dollar job. I use them as test as we have a custom printer in town. Costco is convenient fast and accurate. I chose Polish dog. I have been around the world several times and there is no toilet paper to compare with Costco.

Good to know J.R. We just moved to Victor and I have always liked the results from Costco.

Can paper coffee filters such as the type used in Mr. Coffee machines be used to filter gasoline?

Will the gasoline break-down the make-up of the filter and lead to more impurities?

Thanks,

I would personally use a paint filter. They are available at any place that sells paint. Never had any problems with them.

This is what happens when you fly a drone in a National Park and don't stop when told to do so.
