These pictures were taken at my daughters house with her and the grandkids for Chrstmas and then went out on the dock behind my house at 2:30 in the morning to take a shot of the stars. Would like some C&C on these photos, good, bad or any to help me improve on my photos. Hope everyone has a good New Years. Thank you all for looking.

I went out looking for Gators yesterday and came across this big guy. I usually see beauty in any animal, but with this one, I must say that it is not too pretty of a sight. Whatever happened to him does not seem to stop his ability to eat because he looked very well fed!

I think he has a overbite

This pic was taken in the upper part of the Yukon Territory the color of the water changes most of it comes from the Mountian silt that washes down the mountian in the spring time. It is a very interesting shot hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This was quite a difficult study for me, as my natural instincts
were to try and rescue the Bumble.
I decided it wasn't my place to interfere with nature, which would
only have caused more suffering in the long run.

Hi, CYsArt Jumping on your wagon about spider weaving
this pic was taken on a golf course I did not know what it was at first untill I got close enough Wal-aa it is a bush full of webs.

I have never cropped a photo in this manner. It's real tight.
Usually you like to give some shoulder to sit on when you crop.
I just couldn't pass up the tight crop with the lines on Genny's face.
She had the most unusual strong lines down the sides of her mouth giving her almost a puppet like appearance. I didn't notice the straight line under the right part of her mouth until post. I'm guessing it was a scar.

This lady was crazy as hell but a blast to talk to. She had no problem signing a release.

The portrait was done in a black and white metallic post processing technique I am working on.

I had originally called this portrait the wicked, but decided to change it to better reflect what she seemed to be.

I hope this is not to offensive to post.

This is a photo just out side the locks the two ore ships are heading into Lake Superior from the locks, The lead ship is the largest ore caring ship that will fit in the lock it measured 1000 ft long the other ore ship was about 850ft it is a very interesting site. You can go on a dinner cruise thru the locks it takes about 2hrs, very injoyable and good food. And as long as you are in the area take the Agawa canyon train ride in Canada close by well worth it all day affair you would enjoy it very much.

Is your camera a digital camera ? If it is what I do is often enough is after each photo I look at the review screen to see if any body has there eye's shut or any other problems that may acure. in reviewing you can zoom in to get a better look at any mistakes.

Merry Christmas fella UGH Members.

I recently took a photo of some friends we had not seen for almost fifty years. The lady in the Photo was in our wedding.

To my dismay, when I loaded the photo into my computer her eye glasses as you can see had bad glare.

I was using a 50mm f.8 lens and external flash thinking the room was too dark without the flash, I believe this added to the amount of glare along with mostly my in-experience.

I have photoshop elements 10, but not sure exactly how to make an attempt to repair, this glare maybe beyond recovery???

Also, if some of you very experienced, skilled and talented photographer's would render me some advice on reducing potential eye glas glare in my future attempts.

I love Photography have much to learn as this photo depicts, i am a bit intimidated to post this photo attempt, but I want to learn.

I have very thick skin, all comments, feedback and critique will be taken in the spirit of growing and learning.

I thank each one of you in advance for your feedback.

Blessings and a very Merry Christmas from our home to yours may the coming year be filled with love, peace, happiness and prosperity.
