Thanks Tim.. This is at Falfurrias. I think it is the only one left between Mexico and the U.S. and only one in the U.S. It is funny...there is of course boarder patrol etc. at this. There is also ....as usual a place to get "refreshments" cheap even if you don't plan on crossing into Mexico. So.. in order to buy the refreshments.... You have to purchase them... ride the fairy across...pay $1.00 ... you don't get off... just return... pay another $1.00 to ride back. They check your passport, give you what you purchased and then you pay the duty and off you go. But hey... the refreshments are definitely a lot cheaper! LOL! It is also fun to watch the ferry pick up and drop off the vehicles. Where they land on the U.S. side it is of course sandy. So every time the ferry leaves the "dock" and sometimes while loading vehicles they fill in the tire tracks for the next landing... We didn't try loading our 350 Ford Dually Truck! LOL!
