I can’t actually remember who made mine. I’m currently out of town without my camera or I’d go look

I typically use a laptop to adjust my images as needed. As nobody's perfect, same with me. Every so often you'll come across a totally great shot you've taken, but the background is slightly angled, or something at the edge of the screen you really didn't want in the photo, so I adjust as needed. Fortunately, I've been doing this long enough I don't have to do much, but always an easy view - PLUS the large screen lets you see the photo in great detail. Hi-res photos today are wonderful.

Love trips like this. I've only had the chance to do one (camping all the way) - from Ohio to Wyoming/Montana several years ago, hitting the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, (right at Sturgis time also), Custer state park. Spent the night camped in close view to Devils Tower, then Jackson Hole, The Tetons, Yellowstone and finally Glacier. So much fun. Enjoy your trip, take LOTS of photos..

A lot of differing opinions here. Personally I love a decent capacity regular high speed SDHC card. Do I own one? only one. I find the micro cards with the adapter cheaper, so have 2 of them, (128G each). I think the micro cards are too small and easy to drop/lose, etc. But, still use them.

BUT - ALWAYS format/initialize the card on the camera prior to use.

Sports and a new lens - definitely go for (at least what Canon calls) an ultrasonic lens - focus is quiet and VERY fast what is what you need for anything moving. There are constant focus settings for your camera - BUT also use the fastest shutter speed the environment will allow.

Personally, I use a simple hand-strap. I know a lot of folks don't like these, but the cam is always at my hand, and simply doesn't allow me to drop it. Something like the attached. Mine is made of leather and cloth, very strong. I recommend NOT using neoprene using a DLSR, just not strong enough. I've used just about everything, but really don't like a cam hanging around my neck. A body harness might be OK, but I've settled on the hand strap (tons of models out there), but I just find them simple and they work. MHO

Sorry, just assumed it was all inside. I think it was a room in Las Vegas, where the entire ceiling was that type of glass. Very hard to photograph and have it come out good.

If they allow photography, your biggest issue is going to be white balance, because of the lighting that they use you’ll have to look at a few and be very aware of the color of the lighting that they use and adjust your camera to meet what they are providing to get the best shots

I’ve had a tripod for quite a long time and then retrospect, I wish I would’ve bought something similar to carbon fiber. At the time carbon fiber wasn’t an option so I picked a heavy-duty Manfrotto aluminum. The biggest issue is it is really big and heavy and cumbersome to take just about anywhere. But, it will accommodate just about any camera. I bought a ball head for it along time ago because I really prefer it over everything else.

Wrangler 5 is right, can’t do it without loss. Personally I use the paid Google service (2TB $99). This way I can format the data the way I want and not purely chronologically like the others have with both free services by Google and Amazon. I format my data in another way. Plus it allows me to upload video also without any extra charges. I pretty much don’t worry about the speed, as all set a few thousand photos to copy and go to bed. But the time I get up they’re done. It was just a smaller set of photos (like 30) it’s done just a few seconds it was just a smaller set of photos (like 30) it’s done just a few seconds. With that much storage, I also keep my entire music collection Up there

I actually paid for the 2 TB of storage, $99 a year. That way there is no limitation to what I store on it. It’s not just limited to pictures but allows videos, and music etc.

Google works great for me. I use google photos for free, automatic storage if everything which passes through my phone (WiFi to my phone) then I save everything to Google Drive (I like storing things in my own format) AND it’s easy to share any folder to just about anyone. This makes all my work available just about anywhere on any device.

If I was shooting raw, I would do nothing but directly transfer the files from the SD card directly to a computer. after that, then I could manipulate them as needed for whatever device I wanted them on.

Better yet, your 80d is Wi-Fi capable. If you got an iPad or an iPhone you can Wi-Fi direct to your device using the Canon camera Connect app which is available free from the app store. I do this anytime I have a shoot. Since my stuff is backed up to iCloud I'm covered there. (when you have a Wi-Fi connection to the outside world) I also automatically have my phone or iPad upload to Google photos, so I have a second copy up there again when Wi-Fi is available. The Canon connect app is great.
