Had a blast hanging out on a friend’s horse farm yesterday. They also raise Maine Coon cats. I took over a hundred photos in a couple of hours. These are a few so far. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! 🙂

Hi. I always used BBF on my Nikon cameras. However I don’t use it on my new Olympus OMD 10 Mk IV. It’s too small and the button placement would make BBF very awkward.

Those are very nice photographs of the town where I was born in 1956. 😃

I’ve been here for 3 years. I work for the VA hospital here. From what I hear Fayetteville was a wild and woolly place years ago. I have to say that the downtown is now really beautiful and it’s a nice place to live.

First off Thank you Larry for starting off the Free Weekend your help with that was appreciated.

I'm starting off the next Challenge a couple of hours early because I need to leave for work at 4:15 and won't return home till around 10:30pm.

This weeks Challenge is all about Fourth of July Festivities and Fireworks, whether you enjoyed a BBQ with friends and Family, went to a Fireworks Display, or set off your own Fireworks. This year we did something a little different, instead of going up to Mnt. Harbor for Dinner and Fireworks, we went to Daisey City Park on Lake Greeson, and Had Hamburgers and BBQ Sandwiches with Chips and Drinks. Flags were flying everywhere..and they set off $8,000 dollars worth of Fireworks..
Quite a show for a small lake front community..
First off Thank you Larry for starting off the Fre... (show quote)

That looks like so much fun! A real slice of Americana. 🙂

Yesterday was a wild bird day at our house....A rosebreasted grosbeak male lighted on our air conditioner and peaked on the window to get a better view! Such funny stuff! Tried to get his pix. but he was otherwise shy!

Beautiful!!

A happy and safe Independence Day to everyone! We are sticking close to home this year and will be home to sedate the dogs this evening before the neighborhood fireworks begin. My sister-in-law and I went into Downtown Fayetteville early this morning to see how the morning light treated our cameras. A month ago I went totally into a micro 4/3 system with an Olympus OMD-em10 Mk IV. After years with Nikon and lugging around heavy stuff, I just needed to simplify and get back to having a camera with me all the time. So far I absolutely love this little camera!

These photos are all wonderful! (parts 1,2 and 3). The beauty is in the details. It just goes to show that, if we slow down and really see what we are looking at, art is everywhere.

I like your interpretation of the scene much better than the SOOC shot. Nice work!

Your processing creates an interesting scene where everything started out mundane. One suggestion for a further fine tune: crop to a square format, leaving out the small part of sidewalk on the bottom.

Thank you! Is this better?
